Is it possible to write a chrome extension that is not detectable by JavaScript so that it can't be used in fingerprinting attacks?

What is your use case? If you aren't using an anti-fingerprinting browser then it shouldn't matter what extensions you install.

I have a private extension for personal use and I don't want its unique existence to be harvested as identifying information by websites
