Well. The city wants to tear down one of the counties oldest parks. Same one i played on as a kid. Same one I smoked my 1st joint at. Same one I lost my virginity at. You get the point. And it's not just me.

The city:

$120k for upkeep on a 1995 wood playground for 5yrs.

Or

$486k to replace with sand and a metal one thats ¼ the size.

Goodbye nostr until further notice.

Its time to try and get my seat within the citys local government.

Enough taxes have been wasted, and this town does not have a dispensary to get tax money back from the state...

Let's open a cannabis dispensary in town and use part of the tax money recived to upkeep the park INDEFINITELY. We'll have plenty left over too.
