Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. I was disappointed more than anything, I apologised and we sort of resolved the issue but it now feels different, I think I really hit a nerve. It’s a sign to try harder to find new people! I do have some fantastic friends who are even more curious than I, they just aren’t local sadly. Are you fortunate to have strong connections locally?

And did she apologise to you?

Definitely. When you’re not a normie, it’s incredibly difficult to find likeminded people in real life.

Since being in Lat Am, I’ve been lucky enough to have made some great, more aligned friendships :) though it wasn’t always like this - as where I came from, I struggled finding other local women who were freedom minded, curious and interesting. They’re really not so easy to come by 🥲

No, but I didn’t expect her to because I challenged her beliefs. Ironically she made a comment about people believing in homeopathic remedies being silly. 🙃 We’re all in some form of Plato’s cave.

You live in a freedom loving part of the world! We hope to live part-time in Latin America at some point, as we currently live on a farm that’s been in the family for over 300 years so we have strong ties to Southern Germany. I’m sure there are freedom loving people around here, just need to find them! But I also find people like us don’t necessarily NEED friends around us all the time like most, we are pretty self sufficient and I’m never bored!

Thank you for the words of encouragement! 💖

That’s so very special; 300 years is a long time.

Where we are at the moment, there sure are a lot of Germans! I think a huge portion of the freedom loving Germans are here so you might struggle finding them in Germany hehe 😆😄

And totally right. I’m never bored. I’m an introvert and homebody at heart. Wouldn’t want it any other way!
