I think if it works it would be a cool invention but at the same time I feel like they’re taking away the freedom from kids to imagine.

We did not need flashy toys with light and speakers. We used our imagination and made whatever we wanted out of it.

Sure has a lot of potential though! Imagine if you could free-build with programmable blocks or something like that

Yeah, that could be an application.

Still, I think that with what Lego already has, (engines and such) you can do pretty cool things. Adding some lights or sound is not something I believe could add up a lot other than (in the case of children) being an obstruction for them to be creative.

Or perhaps send the footprint info back to the other countries so that they recognise the subject as opposed to handing all of data to the US
