Don’t you think culture is just like religion?

I mean it exists to give meaning to people’s lives

But it’s old, archaic

Now people are not united by land but by the network

Though it’s still the same concept, people desire meaning through any medium

Idk just feeling these things are not good per-se, culture and religion. They still exist because humans are social animals.

I believe these are called Systems of Meaning.
