For the past two months I’ve been trying to reorganize from when the went away … I like my things a certain way. Mostly put away in boxes & labeled
Did anyone leave? On the other hand, I try to live light without many things. I don’t keep memories or things that I don’t use.
I left for a while… was traveling for quite sometime. The separation made me fall into darkness & I had 0 motivation to organize or do anything. Also, inherited stuff from a move - none of it fits so I just gave up.
Just got back into the groove of organizing again.
A lot of people take advantage of my ability to fix things, organize, & I got too generous in helping & became exhausted by cleaning/maintaining.
I’m learning to enjoy it again - in a healthy way, which like you, involves only keeping important things & dumping the rest lol. Also, like in the show “Nora From Queens,” Nora’s grandma says “Marie Kondo ruined my life” 😂😅 so I’ve gutted out everything & gone back to my old methods.
Oh 😥 I understand. Every separation disrupts many things in our life. I am glad to know that you are reorganizing everything in your life. And yes, discard everything and keep what you need, which is sometimes the most basic thing.
By the way, I like that grandma from that program you name. jajaja 😂
