I still remember the first time - 2014 a couple friends were mining with GPUs… I looked into it but it didn’t click. Don’t remember what made me look again in 2017 but it stuck that time.
Yes, Mark Yusko. Possibly on Pomp’s podcast, possibly on Twitter. Around 2019 with BTC under 10k.
Pomp has jumped the shark since, but did many (including myself) a valuable service back then. And Yusko has been (and remains) solid throughout.
I remember 2019 well. It was probably my favorite year as a bitcoiner 😂
Read a book in early 2018 after the 2017 bull run. Finally understood how amazing the Bitcoin network was. Kind of blew my mind and I went all in.
