The problem with believing any conspiracy theories is making friends. Normies think you are a nut so you are forced to find other conspiracy minded people. But the normies are usually right, most conspiracy theories are obvious bunk. So obvious even conspiracy believers see right through the theories they don't believe.

You can't make normie friends. So you make a conspiracy nut friend because you share a conspiracy. All goes well until you find out they believe another conspiracy theory you see right through. What an idiot. Back to loneliness and trolling the internet.

This made me laugh. Thank you.

The older I get, I honestly enjoy interacting with people I disagree with more than those with whom I agree.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to come across the occasional odd duck like oneself, but stress testing opinions (I refuse to have beliefs since that implies dogmatic thinking) requires engaging with those who think differently. It has the added benefit of occasionally coming across an opinion worth changing.

My thought on the subject is all theories are conspiracy theories, in so far as they share a common understanding in the conspiracy, in the ‘to breathe together’ that allows the words to be sharing. All I know for sure is that I am a believer. It is threatening to some to use this type sharing to make friends, but I am not frighten by the beliefs of others that I do not share. However, I am alarmed by their actions.
