It’s no secret that the West is unhappy with African countries shifting away from Western partnerships and turning to non-Western partners, particularly Russia. Recently, one Western country has been notably more vocal than others about Russia's presence in Africa: France, the former colonial master of more than 14 African countries. It seems to be jealousy. Goodbye to the old evil, and welcome the new one.
