It's that time of year again when I run into someone my age who's way more accomplished and has actually done the things I wanted to do. Now it's time to make excuses, convince myself I never really needed those goals anyway, and drink myself to sleep. Thanks. Here’s a great video that I wholeheartedly agree with. If you are young and there's something you want to do, do it now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQO0IqMLBkk

I do want to leave the country but IDK, I'd be terrified if not for some of my stuff. Sometimes feels like I did nothing of note.
It's doable. I made big changes to my life. Dropped about 85 pounds, bought a house in a different city, changed careers, picking up some new skills. Doing all this in my 30's, but to be fair I was kinda forced to.
I was too overweight to be comfortable, I was being kicked out of my old place, my job cut my hours and pay. The motivation was more out of necessity, because sometimes a crappy situation is all you know and change is a risk, even change for the better.
A good friend of mine helped guide me this point. My new coworkers are amazing people who have so much life experience, it's crazy, and they're very generous in sharing their experiences and skills. Don't be afraid to accept help from those around you.
Change is doable, sometimes though it takes a rough push though. If you can it without that though, even better.
