I went down the rabbit hole of mike mentzer and he makes a lot of sense. Just do 1 set of reps to failure and focus on recovery more so bc that is when muscles are built. Muscles are made up mostly of water, not protein. Drinking more water and resting is going to help more. Idk how I never was introduced to this philosophy it makes sense
