I find that Damus works well, less errors then other ones.

Log out of all of your clients. Also try Damus

If you didn’t set up on primal originally you might have to enter your private key to follow and comment otherwise it acts like a read only client.

I get that too in the web browser version. Works fine on my iPhone app.
