Lightning Node gonna be offline for a hot minute. Hopefully I can get it restored before my channels all force close.

How are you restoring it? With a new ssd and the backup?

That’s the plan. Just ordered a new SSD

Be aware you need to sync the hole block chain again...

You don’t. You can transfer the data from the old drive.

Yeah. New drive on the way. Definitely didn’t want to have to spend the $$ but it is what it is

I feel you. My start9 gave up on the timechain earlier this year. It was the old version with the “premium raspberry pi” lmao

I’ve got it running on a dell micro tower. It’s been great. And I’ve needed to put in a larger drive for a while. I started with a 1TB back when the blockchain was like 500GB lol

I got a beelink mini pc. Upgraded the SSD. Pi is too weak to support the 2025 timechain
