Chronicles of CROM: a Conan Story

In a remote village nestled in the mountains, there lived a young orphan named Kael. Kael was a scrappy and determined boy, known for his quick wit and cunning. Despite his humble origins, he possessed an unwavering belief in Crom, the god of steel, and often prayed to him for strength and guidance.

One day, a fearsome dragon descended upon the village, terrorizing the inhabitants and demanding tribute in the form of gold and livestock. The villagers, paralyzed with fear, complied with the dragon's demands, unable to resist its overwhelming power.

But Kael refused to submit. Filled with righteous anger, he decided to confront the dragon and free his village from its tyranny. He sought out the village blacksmith, who crafted him a sturdy suit of armor and a mighty sword, imbued with the blessings of Crom.

With his newfound armor and weapon, Kael set out to face the dragon. He climbed the treacherous mountain path to the dragon's lair, guided only by his faith in Crom and his determination to save his people.

When Kael reached the dragon's lair, he found the beast resting atop a massive pile of treasure. The dragon roared with fury as Kael approached, but the young warrior stood his ground, his sword gleaming with Crom's blessing.

The battle was fierce, with the dragon unleashing torrents of fire and swiping its massive claws at Kael. But the young warrior fought with unwavering courage and skill, dodging the dragon's attacks and striking back with precision and strength.

As the battle raged on, Kael's armor bore the brunt of the dragon's onslaught, but it held firm, protecting him from the flames and claws. With each swing of his sword, Kael channeled his faith in Crom, striking true and inflicting wounds upon the dragon.

Finally, after a long and grueling battle, Kael delivered a mighty blow to the dragon's heart, felling the beast and freeing his village from its tyranny. The villagers rejoiced, hailing Kael as a hero and savior.

In the aftermath of the battle, Kael looked up to the sky and offered his gratitude to Crom, thanking the god of steel for his unwavering faith and granting him the strength to overcome the dragon. He remained a humble servant of Crom, continuing to pray to him for guidance and living by the virtues of strength, courage, and unwavering faith.

And so, Kael's legend as a champion of Crom spread far and wide, inspiring others to have faith in the god of steel and to never falter in the face of adversity. He became a symbol of Crom's power and protection, a beacon of hope for those in need, and a living embodiment of the god of steel's glory.
