Isreal has an immigration policy based on genetic testing for racial integrity. It is illegal for an Israeli citizen to undergo genetic testing without a court order, due to fear that the results may invalidate their Jewish heritage. Genetic test results proving the non-Jewishness of Isreali citizens could consequently upend families as they could then be subsequently forcefully deported.
