🤔 thoughts on... Astrology

I love psychology. I appreciate correlations, patterns, and the timing and motions of our struggles. It does appear that society flows together in common temperament. Ten years ago, I had no patience for this stuff. Now... I listen to 10 hours of Carl Jung, spend months learning Tarot (still a beginner), and find the esoteric meaning in King Arthur and Bible stories. All psychology.

But astrology... That's whole 'nother animal. I think it's simultaneously deeper and more harmful than people realize. I suspect people are surrendering their agency to it. A planet is in a certain house/part of the sky, so certain things are going to happen, and I need to be aware of the changes... etc. That thinking. It doesn't matter if its true. Its not... not that. I know very little of it, but I know its internal, and people expecting external changes are fooling themselves. But even if there were real changes outside yourself, it still doesn't matter. You can simplify the whole thing to, "be mindful."

Mindfulness is another whole 'nother thing. Its good. Its hard. Its easy. Its all you. Its important. It doesn't matter in the slightest. All true, simultaneously, no contradictions. That's the goal - skip to that.

So fuck astrology.

I know, I'll end up learning it. I'll have to... But fuck it anyways.

What we need is space pirates. And to get space pirates, we need to do a whole bunch of stuff on Earth right... So in a future life, I can be a space pirate. Okay?

Heal people. Own stuff. Build. Never give away your agency - not to astrology, not to your pastor, not to the TV, not to the current 12 psyops... You need agency. Control. Power, in a sense. I need space pirates.
