It is concerning that the premier scientific institution for guiding Texas agricultural systems through these difficult climate transitions- Texas A&M- appears to be trapped in a state political apparatus increasingly geared to serve the powerlust of the Texas elite that caused the climate crisis, instead of the very real food needs of the people of Texas.
