Why does the wallet called #Samourai have a #ninja in its logo instead of #samurai symbols?

That’s a samurai, ninjas don’t wear dresses.

Ninjas wear whatever fits in with where they're going which would often look like a dress in Japan back then

Also, ninjas usually keep the scabbard on their back, not by their hips.

Wtf are you talking about

it's a Hollywood ninja. It's wearing shozoku (clothing), does not have a chonmage (top knot), is holding the sword incorrectly (for show); in the smaller icon, that sword looks to be short and straight - a ninjato; in the larger icon, it's clearly an obi (belt) hanging loosely from the waist - it could be a saya in the smaller one (it's not clear), but it would still not be a samurai because samurai wear 2 swords on their hip (katana and wakizashi)

Learning

It's a dude with a sword wearing a robe or something. Could be a samourai or a Chinese martial artist just as easily as a ninja

# as both a samurai by day, and a ninja by night, I appreciate someone finally opening up this dialogue!
