Bitcoin is an open-source project. Every line of code can be checked by artificial intelligence. And ask AI: what is it in source ? It's impossible for anything to become a problem for the project, even if it was designed by the CIA.

The Tor Onion project was funded by the NSA, and one of the developers worked for the NSA. It's been an open-source project for much longer than Bitcoin. No one is telling people the project is dangerous or poses a threat to humanity. People in dangerous regions of the world can safely send and receive messages and data. Every line of source code has been verified and is in order. This is the essence of open source; check the code and compile it on your own computer.
