Well I certainly don't feel responsible for your hunger or your dad's accident. I do care a lot about the inherent novelty in your beliefs if that counts for anything, but I've been assuming that you weren't talking with me just out of a desparate and insecure desire to validate your beliefs to yourself anyway.

Speaking of your beliefs, I'm curious: would it make any difference to you one way or another if I WAS responsible for the hunger of a child? Or would the welfare tax that everyone pays absolve me of any unique responsibility in your eyes?
