Lets not act like this is going to be the norm when someone does music on nostr. It won't be.
It will all depend on your reputation, how well you vibe with bitcoiners, and your music type to receive $1000 for one song.
It won't be the norm for 80% of musicians that join in the future. Or even home atrists....
you're right, it won't be the norm and i tell musicans this all of the time. musicans are okay with this. they're okay earning $5 for a song that they normally would have earned 5 cents for on legacy platforms. in fact, they are escatic to earn $5. it's wild.
As you pointed out, factors like reputation, community connection, and music genre will likely play a huge role in who sees those kinds of returns. While the possibilities of V2V are exciting, the future landscape and how it truly plays out for the majority of artists is still very much an unknown.
