I didn’t have to show it on arrival if I recall correctly. I also kinda forgot that malaria is a thing, and all my nomad housemates took malaria pills.

Same for me! And I've been fine all the time. But it was kinda of a reminder that you become ignorant when traveling haha, you forget about things you do as an "amateur traveler who follows best practices"
