Cloudy subject to be honest but you’re entitled to that opinion, in my view it’s wishful thinking though, because I’m not sure if we could fully function as a society in an anarchic system, due to the sheer fact our technology is becoming soo powerful, and no matter what part of history you look at you always have nut jobs on the loose who are driven by narcissistic and power hungry motives.

If you look carefully at the current system we live in and technology, and incentives structures that surround it then it’s no wonder why people are confused, we have a monetary system that distorts our language to transact with each other, which then distorts our ability to find signal and true information in a world of disinformation and noise, when you combine that with technologies such as the internet you start seeing a world in which we see today.

Technology breaks down walls and barriers and empowers people to share their authenticity and uniqueness to the world, it’s completely borderless, that combined with a system of pure disinformation then it’s no wonder why you see certain people seriously debating whether or not a biological man can get pregnant.

If you think anarchy is the answer then I assure you it’s not, strong incentives, strong money, strong leaders and education is the path we need to go down, the morals sort themselves out eventually…

For example, what do we do about 3D printed guns? Let everyone run riot and figure it out? I’d say the vast majority of society are driven by unconscious behaviours which could lead to some dangerous outcomes.

Will there be some bad actors, duh. Theres always an asshole in the grp.

Have you seen what % of the world population is actually making 3d guns?

Allow them. Not everyone is smart enough do do stuff, and not everyone is capable of taking action to learn.

90% will remain distracted.

My bet is on the massive low IQs being a good thing for freedom. 🤣

But you’re pretty much calling for anarchy and no form of governance, you’ve slightly contradicted yourself as you stated in the first post about the invention secrecy act, do you really think it’s that hard in 2023 for people to truly design powerful 3D printed guns? I’d be very very surprised if the government wasn’t already taking necessary precautions and steps towards clamping down on these types of issues, you’ve already seen that the smart ones have figured it out already but what happens when it gets more and more accessible? Do you govern this type of thing or do you let the "Low IQ" guys get in the action as well?

I'm not saying it's hard. I can go find files and start printing rn if i wanted and had a 3d printer...or go learn to make/ design them myself! I'm saying most folks won't be able to take action, similar to today and folks not taking action. Example; folks just accepting the triple tax on their fiat money....

Tax when earned.

Taxed when spent.

Taxed when saved/invested.

Plus inflation for the counterfeit class....

Folks still out here scrolling FB and IG with their low IQ....not on the Whitehouse lawn until shit changes...

Truth is most folks are comfortable where they are at and only a sliver of the population, works for something bigger, than their own comfort.

Government knows this too.

Or 3d printers would be banned entirely.

Alas, they are not.

But you understand how technology works and Moore’s Law right?

You’re saying people won’t be smart enough to figure it out but eventually this stuff becomes more and more accessible. So then it’s a matter of does it need governing or do we let it slide? Because it’s not just 3D printed guns we need to worry about

Yes.

But i also know you can't fix a bridge that doesn't exist...

How long have 3d printers been around? Since 2006? Almost 20yrs?

And we still haven't all printed guns to take our power back? Just making stupid little dragons for sale at craft shows?

😑

Who says the technology to make it accessible for all doesn’t exist? Remember that ISA we were talking about, seems pretty reasonable if that were the case now.
