I'd definitely get an aluminium tower scaffold; lightweight, easy to put up yourself, safely get up to the gutters or get on/off a crawler ladder if there's any roof repairs to do, ain't paying no 🤠 to butter up my ridges or do some bodging with a mastic gun, all hypothetical but I'd have dry ridge anyway.
