Hey, Sean,

So I've read and enjoyed a good bit of your issue number four, and skimmed the rest. Some thoughts and observations...

I like the colorful pages. You do a good job keeping the text legible in contrasting colors.

I would like to see explicit page numbering? But, not a dealbreaker.

The Trump article has missing text and a misplaced/duplicate paragraph segment at the bottom of light blue Page 6.

The education articles are good. I was especially glad to find one about radical unschooling. I've passed it along to a Signal group searching for alternatives to public education.

Very happy to learn of the bitcoin search! And I'll be going back to study Lighting Pub...

All in all, nice job! I wish you well...

And yes, let's talk IRL at our mutual convenience.😃👍

Amazing feedback. thanks for the heads up re the missing stuff on page 6. I'll take a look now. I'm so convinced I've not missed anything everytime. This is why the feedback is so important.

The page number are available in previous issues. Although because of the format I left them out because a PDF generally has the page numbers available. plus each section is linked on the contents page. Something I've been thinking about for a while. Let me see what feedback from others is like.

Thanks a bunch!

Upon a little more reflection, I think the thing about missing page numbers, for me, is that without them I find myself distracted by a missing sense of orientation. You're absolutely right that most readers provide that in one way or another; but (at least with the reader I use) that information is only visible on demand. I found myself wondering where in the mag I was, missing the page numbers, then clicking to invoke the information from the reader, and I found that to be a distraction from enjoying your 'zine.

Another percolating thought about this...

You might think of page numbers as somewhat akin to the "You Are HERE" orientation kiosks in a shopping mall. I like to know where I am relative to everything else, or I'm left with a nagging sense of dislocation. I had a wild thought I'll pass along FWIW, just in case you're in an experimental mood...😜🤣

Picture a thin row of colored rectangles across the bottom of each page, or perhaps every other page... Each rectangle represents one of the articles in your magazine; it's color matches the primary color of the article, and it is a hot-link to the article itself. For orientation, the rectangle for the "You Are HERE" article simply flows into/connects with the current page because it's the same color, perhaps with an asterisk or arrow...

Just spitballin'...🙏🏻😇😆

This is good to know. I run an anonymous poll in our Telegram group too - to get further clarification and the response was that I'm stupid for leaving the numbers out. Lesson learnt! 👍🏻

I've fixed the mistake on page 6 👍🏻
