If you can to Nostr for the freedom of speech, then stop bitching about content that you consider unworthy. STFU and move on, you can’t have it both ways, your opinions are yours and what you want to see is your choice (real choice), nobody gonna use you or your opinion as a benchmark for what to censor and what to allow. Curate your feed:

- only follow people who post things you want to see or use lists to only see a limited selection of npubs in your feed

- manage your relays!!!

- use the wine filter to slowly expand your follows

- mute/block npubs who are too aggressive or annoying

- report atrocious or threatening behavior

Yes, the wine relay is quite inexpensive and it gets you a trial for the filter that is built on top of it.

I have taken to recommending it because I hardly need to mute anyone, anymore, and it makes it so easy to find good follows. Everytime you follow someone, their follows start to appear in your own timeline.

So, it feels like inching forward in the dark.
