Generally, the IRS can include returns filed within the last three years in an audit. If we identify a substantial error, we may add additional years.

It depends in the value. For large enough amounts, we'll twist existent legislation to get our way.

Last I knew, three years was the audit limit, but if fraud is discovered in those audits, the last ten years become available for audit as well.
