Not sure what you mean by joke exactly, but they are really playing for keeps on this one. 19 co-defendants indicted under RICO statutes means all they need is to find one of the 19 guilty in order to find them all guilty. And you can bet your life at least one is gonna bitch out and sing like a bird. Whether the indictment is right, wrong, or anything in between, he's pretty much fucked.
