Iranian men would kill for this opportunity for US citizenship, even before they see how beautiful you are, they line up at your door...

But Do Not go back

They just arrest you with any excuse and use you as leverage in the negitiations and ask for ransom money. Common practice

The propaganda tries to cover it up and pretend all is normal, though it's not nearlly normal.

But sometimes it would be hard to detect the signs and see the truth.
