What does it do for your that Visual Studio does not do, or how does it do it better?

I’m fixing to be working in C# on an Avalonia project, so I’m curious.

The refactoring and auto complete features of Resharper are pretty good. Have been working professionally with it in Visual Studio for years now. But to be true, I couldn't tell what had been added to VS in last years to make it superfluous maybe 😂

In private, I use Raider, as it is a pretty good replacement for Visual Studio, has Resharper features build in and does cost a lot less than VS. Also, it's performance is a lot better compared to VS with Resharper plugin.

Would be great if you'd tell some of your experiences with Avalonia after you've worked a bit with it. Never heard of it before today, but it sir looks interesting.
