These were still under a dollar all the way up to 2009 or so! Things have changed *fast*
Weirdly enough, the beefy 5-layer is my measurement stick for inflation. When I was a poor college student in the early 2010s, a couple 89 cent burritos for lunch kept me going! Funny to see someone else point out the same thing I have been. 😂
