Chapter 1: Of course it all began by discovering Bitcoin. I found out about it probably around 2012, my classmate was into IT already and told me about it.

I am convinced it got my attention and I probably tried to search for more information, maybe even downloaded some client. That were literally all my computer skills at the time, since I was like 13. Then I forgot about it for another few years.

As Saylor says, everybody gets it for the price each one deserves...

Next time I didn't use my opportunity was around in 2016 maybe, when I bought for the few bucks I was able to send somewhere over the internet. Then sold with a loss and forgot about it again.

I am very proud of one thing in this regard. Probably thanks to my parents, education I had, access to a PC, maybe even presence in Czech Republic, even at that age it got my attention. I didn't understand, but it was just fascinating, when I heard that in a certain places you can pay with this internet money.

Finally, in 2019 I started to study Bitcoin.

This is just to say, and to remind myself too, that it's never too late. I wasn't early skin in the game. No achievements there. But maybe more important metrics is - how early do you realize at least some of the consequences?

In next chapters, I might continue with the story. More importantly I would like to write and discuss, here on Nostr, the concrete consequences.

I believe we are still scratching the surface. Yes, the tech already built is amazing. I'm no technician unfortunately. I think we are scratching the surface mainly of social consequences.

There is lot more opportunities and effects coming. If you are interested too, follow me.

I believe you might find some value in my thoughts, since I partly come from "the opposite side".

Wish you all the best in 2026!
