yep, it's an empty gesture that seems like pandering to shitcoiners, no wonder a lot of people are refusing to upgrade or switching to knots

plus there has been a bunch of suspicious PRs getting merged on the core repo that raise a lot of red flags

my feeling is that core dev group has been effectively infiltrated and is now going to lose all credibility going forward
