What are the problems with github? I'm asking as a layman. How can it be improved?
Microsoft can rug pull your code by just saying your a terrorist or an enemy to the state.

I can see why that could be a downside.
they can't rugpull the code as git is inherently decentralized (each fork keeps a perfect history of all copies)
but it could (and has) rugpull collaboration tools
