You may get a shock and see light mode immediately on update, if this happens just tap the icon in the top right of the screen which functions as a color mode toggle!

Seriously though, you light mode folks are psychopaths!

IMPORTANT FOR MOBILE PWA USERS:

Please update the PWA config by deleting your app icon shortcut and reinstalling via “Add to Homescreen” on iOS and “Install App” on Android.

A change in the config requires this reinstall to display the header correctly. Sorry for any inconvenience!
