Lol nostr does present itself as almost the perfect solution for a lot of these content creators. But the reality is that all in all twitter is the place for them. I asked a question in one of these DR live streams about twitter alts, including nostr and their thoughts. They said that they see it as 'grinding metal' and generally hard work. You can imagine tho. Let's say someone big posting here getting 30 likes, tops. No reach.

The video platform world is way more uncertain, lots of crossposting on the alts, just in case (And this is a lot larger than the DR sphere). But yeah that's a mammoth project, nostr hasn't got a horse in that race.

...but nostr is probably a nice crossposting bet for a more emerging/small account... Maybe. Not that many people have even heard of this place 😔🫂😭 lol

I'm not so sure. As I said, I don't see their audience here at all. Someday maybe, though .

Yeah not here. I think there is a slight ancap crossover of interests in these worlds. Who knows what the future holds ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How did you discover the "DR"? Justin Murphy?

Hmm not sure, wouldn't say I'm too knowledgeable about it tbh. Probably was via Nina P / Justin Murphy, then probably led me to Gio. I mostly just dip in, it can be a bit too depressing in places. I don't find Gio depressing tho.

Agree on the depressing part. It's a big reason, plus a few others, I don't consume as much of them anymore.
