Praying TO the dead or praying FOR the dead? Two very different issues.

Anyway, in Protestant churches might be an alien concept but in Orthodox and Catholic Churches it is a very important practice.

The departed remain alive in Christ and can intercede for the living.

Christ is the intersessor.

Christ doesn't require other intercessors.

Thinking so is heresy.

Christ requires nothing. Men do.

What about the Holy Spirit? He intercedes for us too.

Or am I an heretic for saying it?

Holy Spirit is God, ding dong.

"Christ requires nothing. Men do."

Yes, men need Christ.

No shit, Sherlock.
