I wish people would spend less time talking about masculinity and femininity and what counts as which and whether or not someone is properly coloring inside the lines, and more time talking about being genuine, kind, resilient, and interested in life.

For some reason, outright haters and trolls don’t get me anywhere near as sad as otherwise interesting people who play into this tired, myopic, reactionary agenda.
