For Gantt i would want it to have duration more granular than a day, though perhaps start and end will support the full ISO 8601 standard. Would also be useful if dependencies could be defined on other events but thats not as meaningful unless events can be marked with budgeted/estimated and actuals.

Overall though its still a welcome event type and ill definitely make use of it
