He already lost lol. He is a creature of cope. How could a creature compete with the creator? He is the father of lies though. He and his minions could absolutely tempt you do to doubt that eternal victory by scandalising you with the evils of the world. The devil can't "win", he can only attempt to drag you to eternal fire with him. He can't challenge God, but he can challenge us. Our senses are fickle, weak and transient. This is why faith is required. Faith trumps even the material senses, especially those material senses that are your emotions. They are particularly vulnerable to manipulation and they change with the wind.
