partly true. america still has a huge racism problem, and the world has a humongous problem with misogyny.

the states themselves are beautiful country. all the racists and misogynists inside the red states, ~not~ beautiful. (there ~are~ non-racists and non-misogynists in thise states too.)

but there is a very high concentration of racists & misogynists in the persistently red states. if in general, more people in those states were a lot more enlightened, america would have easily ~not~ ever elected a monstrosity like trump, twice.

& if all of america were much more enlightened…if the red states, at least, caught themselves up to being more enlightened, america as a whole would have much higher standards for the kind of people who would come close to becoming president.
