When machines take all of our jobs, people will be paid to stay at home play games and solve some tasks and problems to give data to AI. That is the real matrix.

Now we are the apes
That’s my take too, AI is just the next step in serfdom software, that was championed by the ad-driven generation of companies, but now AI needs even more data and will require to capture everything you do all the time.
Also, real data (not generated or tampered by other AIs) is going to have inherent value, and they are either going to pay for it, or most likely force a hardware race to control the most bio-connected device possible.
