This weekend highlights the important of building with open source models and continued investment into that ecosystem.

Lots of companies, both large and small have OpenAI at the core of important parts of their roadmap.

That’s a risk and something that if more folks were building with models like Llama, StableDiffusion, etc we could avoid the collateral damage of what I imagine will follow from what could be a collapse of OpenAI.
