But which settings i need to change?

Which difference does it even make?

I just run it with the default config.

Hi Tuvok, from what I understand, the point is that you will still have the ability to change settings, that is the difference. I believe the newest release of core will have removed some optionality for the individual node, that is currently in place. Maybe the next release will further modify the choice you have running core.

I ran knots to use Datum and mine within the Ocean Pool but generating my own block templates. Though, since having powered down my asics in May, I didn't make running core a priority, and now I dont know that it will make any sense to.

Think he helped me the most setting up mine!

LFG

Used tracking disrespector! Also actually tightened some defaults even more in Knots.

Like Luke's reference to Jesus driving out money changers in use of the name Knots

Thanks for sharing! Glad people are finding my series helpful 😀

Even the defaults have some useful filters I believe

Defaults are quite sensible.

Defaults are pretty solid. I found this video to help understand the settings which most are already set by default for that spam protection, with 2 extra options which I liked: https://primal.net/e/nevent1qqstkrzvpt87wagm9e50uwd83t9k955h30tlw0wk9skyq67rzgnwn4s9ufa8d

I second that

Knots is generally ok out the box. Sensible defaults. If you have an ISP data limit then you need to put something in max upload.

It's not specific about Start9 but he refers to other videos. Have a look.
