List of essentials:

Buy a gun

Buy #bitcoin

Join #nostr

Grow food

#prep survival food and gear

This seems like such common sense and the bare minimum.

If you’re not doing one of these, why?

I buy bitcoin because I can.

I use nostr since I like the algorythms or rather the lack of it.

I have a very positive view on human nature. I believe much in collaboration, in that there is a will inleveryone to add in a positive way to this world.

I beleave that everyone is born with the natural behaviour to collaborate, since as a society one has the best chance to strive. Alone we are weak and voulnurable.

Therefore I invest in healthy relations and good social network to improve my safety.

I vote for efficient community food reserves, so in a crisis we suffer together and share our wealth. Because sharing is caring. And if we all care we are the most survival likely 😉❤️‍🔥🐬💝

I agree with most but what do you mean by “vote for efficient community food reserves”?

In switzerland we have storehouses, where there is big storage of food for crisis situations. And for sure it is great to have some amount of easy to store food like pasta and rice, to not be too dependent.

But I think professional maintained big storages can be more efficient then every one doing it on their own. Because of foodwaste I mean.

I see. We don’t have that here in the USA and frankly if we did I wouldn’t be able to trust that I’d be able to get the food quality or quantity that my family deserves. My food is properly dried or freeze dried in Mylar and buckets. I’m hopeful that in 40-50 years there will be food waste. That means that my family didn’t need the survival food that I packaged. It’s kind of the food version of “don’t trust, verify”. If you trust your government to provide for you, that’s your choice. For me and mine, I can’t trust.

Ok. But you do not have to waste it. I mean all the stored foods you can also just eat and replace with newer ones here and there. To not produce any foodwaste.

But yes I think not to trust does also cost quiet a lot. But I can understand depending on the government there is just not much trust for them. Ours did really a lot so in general I know that institutions work quiet well.

I rotate stock on the things that don’t last as long. I guess what I meant to say is that I hope that a situation doesn’t arise where I need to use the long term storage food. But if I do, I’m prepared. ✌️

Yes thats great to be prepard for crisis an hope it never comes. Because people who really would like crisis I am a bit afraid of. And sorry, that there are people with such a bad energy.

More essential than buying a gun is learning to safely and effectively use a gun. Far more people own guns than know how to use them.

Every good instructor I know has firearms available for use by beginning students during class.

Find a good instructor, learn about guns, learn how to shoot. Then go buy.
