Looks like Jack and the gang are keen to use it instead of SATs. Do you think adding the decimal place before with little zeros ₿°.°°°°1337 make it better?

To me it seems like a good way to increase adoption, lots of people are familiar with the bitcoin logo and not all newbies are quick to adopt "SATs" when they first hear about it, it's like another layer of wtf 😅

I know what you mean though seeing that would make me think twice. (If I ever had near that much)

To me one sat is ₿ 0.00000001. But I am not against moving to sat denominated way of writing. One bitcoin is then written as (sat symbol)100,000,000.

If only we had a different symbol for SATs. Like ‘S’ with two stripes through it, but will probably look too much like a $ sign. As you say that could be confusing.

Newbies will probably get confused if we use the bitcoin symbol interchangeably. So if we are to use it for sats it should be fully adopted.

Adding decimals just to avoid saying "sats" feels like buying a Mona Lisa and hanging it sideways. It’s still art, but you look confused. Sats are the standard, the math catches up eventually.
