Can you tell a newbie what is the “problem” with wrapped bitcoin, didn’t know they are existing, but perhaps I am wrong

Long story short: it’s a shitcoin. I'd keep it simple and buy Bitcoin instead

It's a scheme where someone else holds the Bitcoin and you hold an IOU called wrapped Bitcoin. It's better to just hold the Bitcoin yourself.
