I think many bitcoiners should be more receptive to monero. Moneros tech is pretty solid

That will happen when they get rugged by the government. Pick your choice. The government tells the lightning service providers not to work with them. Or the government gains over 51% and will orphan blocks with their transactions. Pick your poison. Both of those are lethal.
And the values a very similar.
I'm a fan, but really needs to be more cooperation . I know nothing of monero and how to use it.
