☎️💾💽 Found this machine on the street on Saturday, somebody just wanted to get rid of this ~2016 Hewlett Packard gaming PC.

16GB Ram, i7 3.4ghz, Asus GTX1060 6GB, some bullshit motherboard.

I cleaned it up, put a harddrive in (had no caddy and kombinatored it you see), and new CPU fan... Now what? I got another workstation? I already own a strong desktop PC, 3 laptops (2 of which have flat batteries), 1 start9 Bitcoin NUC, and 1 retired Raspi4.

I have more old harddrives that are still good than I need to store backups.

What to do with this one? 🧐

NAS/Media Server or give away to someone that need it, if they want to run a BTC node... better.

That's what the start9 does already and very well. Yes yes selling is always an option but I dont need those 150~200€ it could yield and rather find a use case. It's difficult for me to let go of cables and certainly its not easier to let go of a great system I got for free
