Just tried Molly and its not going to work for me it seems that you can only use Signal on one device at a time per phone number.

Yeah cant be used alongside with the same number, it's fine to replace Signal with it however if you want to restore a Signal backup you have to wait for a little for Molly to version match.
Yeah, makes sense. It’s really disappointing how few technologies are available that are both end-to-end encrypted and which are not dependent on a phone number.
I feel like by this time in history, we should be able to generate a random keypair, and use it as an identity across any number of devices, with full end-to-end encryption. Is that too much to ask?
